ScholarshipsThe Colorado Municipal Clerks Association generously provides funding opportunities to defray the costs to it members for Clerk Education. The CMCA Scholarship Committee is responsible for awarding the scholarships.
Scholarships are available for the Colorado Municipal Clerks Institute each July, as well as the CMCA Annual Conference in October. Additionally, the Scholarship Committee is responsible for awarding one fully paid scholarship, followed by partial scholarships, for 3rd-year students to the Colorado Municipal Clerks Institute annually from the Jean L. Rogers Scholarship Fund. Scholarships will also be available from the Mary Watt Scholarship Fund to pay for one attendee at a Professional Development Outreach (“PDO”) course. PDO attendees will fill out the scholarship form when they arrive for class. A name will be drawn during the training. The lucky person chosen will be the Mary Watt Scholarship winner. The winner will receive the full amount payable to their municipality in the following weeks to help defray the costs of attending the class. Scholarships may also be available from CML and CGFOA for attendance at various conferences and trainings: Questions?
