More than Merely the Basics: Elections - the Infrequent and the Unusual

Clerks who coordinate their elections with their counties and clerks who cancel their elections are often surprised (and perhaps confused) when they have to hold a special election or one entirely on their own.  This PDO will provide clerks with information needed to conduct one or more of the following election types: vacancy, initiative/referendum, and recall while demystifying the most confusing of election issues.  It will also cover the new requirement to create Spanish language ballots, which will become law of the land for many municipal elections after January 2027.
